Job Description:
The Software System Integrator III participates in software design, prototyping, construction, and testing of new or enhanced accounting-related applications. The Software System Integrator III assists in training users on new or enhanced accounting-related applications. The Software System Integrator III delivers overall functionality and project delivery. The Software System Integrator III is assigned to a specific TDP team and familiarizes themselves with their IT needs. The Software System Integrator III organizes and executes deployment (including cloud deployment), maintenance, and administration of virtual environments (including cloud). The Software System Integrator III supervises, and mentors subordinate project staff.
- The Software System Integrator III is responsible for supporting application profiling verification and assurance for critical systems and reviews systems for production performance readiness with a focus on efficiency, resiliency, reliability, scalability, required monitoring and alerting, and adherence to development and implementation standards.
- The Software System Integrator III supports proof-of-concept activities for new applications and technologies from a standards, performance, and nonfunctional analysis perspective, including general product assessment, implementation planning, testing and evaluation, tuning, and KPI identification.
- The Software System Integrator III collects and defines requirements; translates them into functional design documents; and participates in the technical design, test planning, and user documentation processes.
- The Software System Integrator III participates in integration efforts between line-of-business systems and finance systems.
- The Software System Integrator III works with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications.
This position is partially remote. When there is active configuring, candidate could be required onsite up to 5 days per week. When not in active configuring, mandatory onsite is 2 days per week.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in STEM field with 9 years’ experience. HS and 13 years of experience; Associates and 11 years of experience. A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A maximum of 1 year of experience credit may be added for a candidate holding position specific required or desired technical Certifications (DoD 8570 specified certifications do NOT qualify).
Requirements:
- 5 years of position-relevant work experience.
- DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II.
- Experience with cloud migration activities.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle.
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Platform Associate Engineer or equivalent.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
